LETTERS FROM PATRONS
August 03, 2004
Hi Betty, Hope you are well. I thoroughly enjoyed your July '04 workshop in Seawall, Maine.
I had never painted 'plein air' before & learned so much from your excellent instruction.
The exercises in painting in greys only were an eye opener
in correct tonal values & how much they can improve my painting.
I loved your exercise on painting in color & then painting the same thing
in the color opposites. Your enthusiasm, dedication & energy was contagious.
You shared your vast knowledge with us freely & your expert advice
when I 'got stuck' in the middle of a painting is invaluable.
I have your painting 'Summer Aflame' hanging in my studio for inspiration
& as a constant reminder of your superb talent. Hugs, Susan Palumbo
Dear Susan....you were a delight to be with! And your enthusiasm
was contagious!! Thank you for trusting me, before you even knew me!
That is the greatest complement an instructor can ever have.
I do hope you will keep in touch, and let me know how your work,
and your life are doing! Also, how that convertible is? Any new photos? Love to you!
Betty
