This may look slightly familiar...well, it would have been another "Red Door," but I decided to pull the window from the extreme right end of the building, to this side. The other end was not as charming as this side.
Also, in designing a painting, an important thing to consider is how complex the left side is, to the right side. You see, if it is too complex, the viewer will have a difficult time "entering" the piece...I guess that is because the western world reads from left to right.
If you do not believe me, go back and look at the Renaissance masters, who created complex paintings with dozens of figures. Left sides are simple, and they work across their canvases, adding more and more as they go. A good test is to look at the mirror image, and see what you think.
