This painting, created on 12 panels, ranging from 18" to 48" panels,
all panels with a width of two feet, was created for the stairwell of the new Pucci family
home,
on Lake Pend Oreille Lake, in North Idaho. (Skip Pucci built the world famous Coeur d'
Alene Resort, on Lake Coeur d'Alene).
The bottom panels are the view from their home, of the Monarch Mountains.
The reason I created this mural in this manner, is so that anyone's stairwell can be custom created,
with the bottom section with their favorite view, be it mountains, lakes or ocean~!
Having placed third in an International competition on water masses (Rivers, Lakes and Ocean)....my piece was for lakes, the other two dealt with rivers and ocean!)
...I have decided to create murals especially for stairwells in homes
that have these massive walls to deal with...
bringing their view into an area that is lacking a
view!!
The black separation brings the wrought iron railing
of the stair case into the
wall, creating a special environment
reflective of this special home!!! (Prices upon request).
