When it was made known, that the state was going to build a by-pass, around our town of
Sandpoint Idaho, and that the sleepy little Sand Creek would be forever changed, with the loss of
trees, and the man made structure of a freeway passing thru, I headed down to the most valued area,
where generations of children have spent their warm summer days, swinging on a rope from "The Swing
Tree"... and created the previous painting, and then created this larger piece (at least I think
that was the order!!)
I created these in sections, in order to be able to do any size, and still be able to ship without a
major issue being made!
