Color is such a relevant thing. That is, a color when viewed from life, will appear to be different colors, depending on what you are looking at. AND, what our minds tend to "tell us" what we are looking at.

This is a good example. The day was very sunny, thus the sky was very blue. So, why did I end up with a sky this color? Well, if you look at something, by NOT looking at it...that is, out of the corner of your eye...you will really see the color. In this case, by not looking at the sky, I could actually "see" or "feel" the color...the affect of sunlight passing between my eyes and the canopy of the sky...which is something different, than what our minds tend to tell us.

And as an artist, I feel it is our part, to help open doors of vision to those not trained to see what this magnificent world has to offer!
