The reason I love this series of Women in White, is because as you shall see, white is anything BUT white! It is a great discipline to train one's eyes to see all the colors that white can take on as it's own character!
I remember back in my first weeks of art school, my instructor
Mr Joseph Morgan Henninger, asked me, as he sat on my bench, if I could see the raw sienna under the model's chin. Being tired of always replying "no", I said "yes" and he turned around so excited,
that I had finally "opened my eyes".
Well, that was the beginning of years of learning. And one must remember, we NEVER quit learning...when we do, we'll be planted 6 feet under! And if we're not, we may as well be!
